Gianni's Story
Gianni, a 4 star
chef, acquired his
culinary skills
working in Rome,
Italy in the early
60’s & 70’s. He
decided to bring
those expertise into
his real love &
passion, pizza. He
made the move to New
York in the late
70’s and began his
career in the pizza
industry. His son
Johnny got an early
start, he was almost
born in the pizzeria
with Giannis’ wife,
Maria, going into
labor while she was
eating a slice at
the pizzeria. Johnny
began working at the
young age of 9. On
the weekends, he
would closely watch
as the pizzaiolos
(expert pizza
makers) would
meticulously work
the dough carefully
creating masterpiece
after masterpiece,
employing the same
precision to each &
every pizza. He fell
in love with pizza &
discovered his
passion. Now Johnny
routinely takes
trips to NYC &
Italy, consulting
with the top experts
in the industry on
how to consistently
deliver The Best
Pizza that money can
buy. We really
strive to bring you
the most Authentic
New York / Italian
